Joan’s Postcards

In 1996 I experimented with eight matt effect local view postcards of the Causeway Coast and Glens of Antrim. Before the end of the summer, I had sold most of them and had to reprint. Now approaching 2012 the postcards on offer number over 70 views. Described as extending ‘from Donaghadee to Donegal’ they cover much of the traditional province of Ulster. Photography and publishing services

I supply commercial and landscape based photography and publishing services. Publishing services include copywriting, editing, proofreading, desktop design and layout and non photographic illustration.

I also have a photo library of digital files including slides and negative film, that can be scanned if required. The photographs mostly cover towns and cities, the landscape, coasts, architecture, transport, the environment, plants, still life and fine art.

As a photographic artist, designer and writer, I welcome commissions. I have a BA in Creative Imaging and a BSc in Geography.

Buttons and Beads

Buttons and Beads is the name of the craft/handwork section. It includes hand-assembled greetings cards, glass and semi-precious bead jewellery, small knitted and crochet garments and knitted hats. The hats are usually beanies or berets. The products in this section are often ‘one offs’, ie the design varies from product to product.

The business has been operating since 1991 from the small town of Ballymoney in Co Antrim, Northern Ireland.
